With Mother's Day approaching Our thoughts turn to the Home, And loving thoughts of Mothers In a Special Class, their Own! Oh what Awesome Wisdom What Loving Tender Care, That God did provide us By putting Mothers there. "The hand that rocks the Cradle..." The world, well, may rule, And the power that she wields Is absolute and true. Motherhood, when at it's best Is a most Precious Gift, Backed by a giving spirit Our futures to befit. Who bonded with our beings While we were in the womb, Who in her loving arms and heart For us, she e'er found room. Who gave a Blest example Who led by actions clear, Who first shared the Bible stories Introducing a Savior Dear. Who aided us in our early years While in our helpless state, And helped us prepare for life It's challenges to undertake! I know that I can ne'er repay The kindness that she's shown, But I hope my admiration of her By her, will be known. In whose eyes, we ne'er stand taller Her Hopes for us Sincere, Thank You God for this Precious Provision Our Loving Moms, so Dear. "GOD GIVES- but man must open his hand." (German Proverb) |
