GOD'S TEAM I knelt at the starting line as the race was about to begin God's team on the right the devils team on the left all ready to run this race to the very end 10,000 music filled Angels with trumpets in hand were ready to start the race that would be run across this land God's team was in crimson red representing the Blood that Jesus shed the devil's team in snake like green with sinful veils covering their heads As we each took our check points the Angels trumpets blarred in sound God's team carrying the Cross the devil's team the lowly snake on the ground The Cross I carried said" Love" while the devil's snake hissed~~ hate~~ I suffered running as fast as I could and passed the Cross to Compassion before it was to late Compassion took off like lighting as greed trailed on her heels then Compassion reached Kindness as greed and pride try to make a deal Kindness gain a mile lead but ego caught her in the blink of an eye but Kindness made it to Humbleness passing her the Cross she begin to fly Lust snatched the snake from ego fast as he could he headed for temptation but Humbleness found Rghteousness and took the lead with Holy Pulsation As Righteousness passed the Cross to Truth the devil's team looked mighty tired and when Truth gave the Cross to Faith He set the race track on Holy Fire Heaven's Gates opened wide as the finish line grew near for the devil's team lost all their power when God's team felt no more fear So as The Cross of Christ was carried over the finish line God's team claimed the Victory that satan can never have what is Mine written by rose mary 5/9/2000 sadie1030 |

Rose, Amen! I loved this poem. A great read (see I knew who's side you were on so that let me smile from beginning to end). Victory in Jesus, NO ONE or NOTHING can compare. What a great analogy, the race. Ugh, I hate snakes!! Blessings, marcy |
