( I write this borne out of some recent, not too pleasant experiences, which I face and seek to overcome.) When the devious and ungodly Are those that are in control, Don't look for things to be equitable Or refreshing to the soul. It seems that the ungodly gravitate To gaining positions of power, Causing many to suffer at their hand And under their senseless scour. Don't look to others for the Fairness To which they are not disposed, But seek fairness in your own dealings By which their works will be exposed. You don't have to fight your own battles If you're truly on the Lord's side, The ungodly may make their advances But will go down in defeat, by and by. Thus God grant me Patience to Conquer To rise above the meanness of men, Believing that You have "all power" And that You'll bring all evil to an end! "GOD GIVES- but man must open his hand." David; I can relate to your pain and disappointment, as you know. You are in a good frame of mind about this mess.
