Once I opened my heart, tentatively, fearfully, to the possibility of His love, I began then to be pursued, or had He always been pursuing me? And now my spiritual eyes were opened to His relentless Love. Never knowing that I was loved as a child. Toemented instead, emotional torment, so trusting was difficult. But, oh how He poured His love into every aspect of my life. All relationships changed and blossomed into loves deep unfolding. So my Lover's pursuit continues. Everywhere, in waking and sleeping. His loving voice I hear. How did I live without You, sweet Jesus? I didn't! 02 |

Dear Ellie, In the arena of Love sometimes we are the persuers sometime we are the persued- sometimes we are both. We are most blessed when we experience both- for to love & be loved is life's greatest experience--especially when it comes to Jesus. A lovely offering here. God Bless you Dear friend, David< !signature--> "GOD GIVES- but man must open his hand." (German Proverb) [This message has been edited by deleeme (edited 05-24-2000).] |

Ellie this is the essense of what God's love is, his persuing us, not religion where people persue what they think God requires. God desires fellowship with us, wanting all the things for us that are good for us, as a true loving relationship should be. Beautiful poem, the kind I always know I will find, when I see your name. |

ellie, This is beautiful. I felt how much love you have for "sweet Jesus" as I read your poem. As I felt your love for Him, imagine only the angels singng praises unto Him because of this poem and your expression of love to Him boldly penned. So humbling and loving. Blessings, Marcy |

Very good Ellie! Excellent poem! I love that question and answer, "How did I live without You, sweet Jesus?" "I didn't!" Thank-you for sharing this. Jester |
