This was written 30 years ago (uh-oh giving away my age) when I first began to write. From the archives of childhood.... As I sat beside the window pane looking at the falling rain, it suddenly appeared to me a crystal-clear, glass pony. The pony looked then started towards me, the little glass pony that I did see. It's beautiful shape, it's finely shaped ears, the shining eyes that held no fears. I ran downstairs, stumbled outside, maybe, just maybe it won't run and hide. When I got outside it was as I had feared, the glass pony was gone, completely disappeared. It was the day my imagination ran away with me and I saw what I imagined, a little, glass pony. 10/16/1970 |

Wow! I really liked that I like when poems rhyme. I don't know why, but it makes me understand them better. ![]() I'll injoy reading more of your work. ![]() Take care. -WhisperingWind |

Wow, Child, you wrote this when you first started writing? I wish I could write like this now. ~Gene p.s. I read "The Killing Love." That was incredible too. I really like the way you write. ~Gene |

Now this is just amazing! Like how in one of my poems I saw the shadow of a dragon, and I could touch him...only your pony seems so much more real. Thanks for posting this, child! ![]() Little Spyro T. Dragon |
