a soft cluttering noise is haunting me this afternoon
the thought of flying
( i have offered my brother a years supply of chewing gum if he'll cut off my head with a carving knife.
that way things would be
actions sensations impulses instincts )
my existence would shudder
my body fade
stretching and yearning.
sweet sweet silence.
