Diversity What’s trash to some might just my treasure be It takes all kinds to make this world go ‘round There’s room for all to blend in harmony A song with just one note’s a boring sound. A canvas splashed with many splendid hues Diversity adds such a zest to life Just think of all the beauty we would lose If palettes but with monotones were rife. The structure of a verse sings sweet its song On me it has a powerful effect Yet verses free so gently float along They’d cause a butterfly to genuflect. 'Though not the same they share a common goal …Portraying for the world what’s in the soul. 01/07/99 Denise |

Wise words Denise and beautiful poetry. In the dew of little things, the heart finds its morning and is refreshed. (ee cummings) |

Amen! Spoke my mind with this one, Denise! Excellent - being addicted to FV - I find it really refreshing to come to my second home and read the lives of my friends through sonnets and sestinas and villanelles and lovely structured verse.
