Leaves doing gymnastic swirls
     on their path to the ground
Frost, not dew, making them crisp

Painting a picture of fall, life receding
Young children, new life, discovering Autumn

Leaves raked into high piles
     a mattress on which children play

What a nice picture you paint with so few words!  I really liked this!  I love the leaves in the fall...You've captured their beauty well.  You're good at this nature stuff, BTW!     Keep writing!
