The mere sight of her And my heart starts to race Beating forth at quickened pace Her elegant walk, my emotions stir I can't help but stare About her is an irresistible air I hear her chuckle with glee And my world suddenly feels whole Instead of unbearably dull A soft hello, directed at me And my frail heart skips a beat Words like sugar so wonderfully sweet Feeling her brush past me My knees suddenly weak Lost in wonder, I cannot speak A hand upon mine, it is she I thank God for the pleasure Of this moment to treasure I smell her sweet, pleasing fragrance As she calmly passes me by Causing my emotions to fly I am overcome by the urge to dance She smells quite angelic Like a drug psychedelic I yearn for taste of her sweet kiss But know my quest is forever doomed Before me, her beauty has bloomed Now in my mouth a bitter taste exists The taste of defeat and rejection Because I tried to show my affection [This message has been edited by Mistikman (edited 03-14-2000).] |

You've put all your emotions into this one. It's amazing but most men do enjoy a woman's perfume as they find it intoxicating. Good job....if I had one wish in life it would be that you would have her in your life forever...  |

Poet deVine- Thanks This was my first real attempt at a somewhat romantic poem. (It still came out dark, heh, guess thats just me) Perfume is nice, I guess, but I kinda prefer the natural scent. (No, that doesnt mean no showers or deoderant, heh) I guess I'm just wierd Aimster- Thank you |

WhtDove- Thank you LoveBug- Well, at her urging, I have stopped persuing her, so it is doubtful that I will ever get her, I can dream though.... Rex Allen McCoy- Thanks, but you have no idea how hard I did try for her, and how much heartache is caused both of us. She explained to me in no uncertain terms that she will never go out with me because she does not find me physically attractive, and I have a few personality defects she could live without It happens, I guess. |

Denise- Thank you Rex Allen McCoy- LOL, heh, guess its better that way though, at least you dont look as dumb cuz you never did ask. Christopher- Thanks, and indeed it does... Marge Tindal- Oh I hope so, but I so want it to be her, but I know that will never happen.  Thanks for reading.Michael- 4 letters wasnt enough to express the pain, so it was extended to 9. Rejection in itself isnt that bad, its only bad when you have very strong feelings for the other person. Thanks for reading. |
