They call me a survivor I hate that term It makes me think Of tangeled bodies Pulled from a crash Hanging on to A small thread of life If managing to live Scarred forever Because of Their plight I choose to think Of myself In More nobler terms No matter How severe My injuries are I choose Not to play The Victim's part But Stand With spear Held high The Victor! excellent declaration of strength septsong!! stay strong and inspired... take care, janet marie I love you Is all that you can't say- Years gone by and still... Words don't come easily Like I love you, I love you... But you can say baby... Baby can I hold you tonight Maybe if I told you the right words At the right time you'd be mine... Tracy Chapman |
