Today God blessed me
   with the morning sun
Rising up over the
   rolling river
With windblown clouds high
   in a purple and gold sky
He blessed me with the
   birds singing in the trees
The butterflies dancing like
   jewels across the flowers
Today God blessed me
   with a thousand tiny things
But best of all
   He blessed me with you
