One-night Lover kissed me, dressed
Quietly slipped away
Moonlight, coffee, cigarette…
Tomorrow - empty day.

Phone is dead and friends are far
Dawn is breaking night
Right above me -lonely star
Winking chilly light.

Soul is crying with no sound
Lost in frightening dark
Hands are shaking, on my neck
Left his bitter mark.

One-night Lover on his way
To unknown aims
Man that never, never stays
Man with many names.

Yes, I asked him, may I come?
May I walk beside?
Faceless phantom touched my hand
Gone… Me - left behind.

Tears touching burning cheeks
Dying cigarette
In my upside down dreams
Blurry silhouette.

Dark-eyed stranger, lonely man
Took my heart away
Moonlight, coffee, lovely night
Tomorrow - empty day.

Never, never fall in love
With the one-night dreams
They are breaking… cos the Man
Is never what he seems.

I like the way you constructed this. The style suits the topic..very nice. I, for one, enjoy sad pieces. I think I might be in a minority here....
