Mixed Blessings I'd forgotten how dark the days could be When the sun refuses to shine. I am thankful for the refreshing rain But still it makes me pine For the long sunny days that may be past. When rain comes here it's prone to last. Though I prayed for the rain with all my might I wanted it to fall at night. By Joyce 08/09/03 |

Joyce: This is really a cute poem! I'd gladly take some of that rain for over here, if I could. Betty Lou Hebert |

Joyce~ Indeed ... this is a true true write~ Well .. when God sends rain ... rain's my choice~ (Just wish it had an alarm that would only go off at night~) ![]() *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
