the moon shines it's glorious light.
but ain't it just a reflection
the sun's the true source of might.
stars blazes sprinkle the sky,
but visible only in the night;
the break of dawn spells their end.

Yes we would have no light at all without the sun. Of course it wouldn't matter, we wouldn't exist without the sun. Joyce
