The Middle West, the East, the South, are having a heat wave. They are wondering how to cool down, their energy to save. I'm here in the North Pacific West, enjoying a cool breeze. A fine summer day is forecast, the opportunity to sieze A ramble amongst the flowers, a never ending thrill. Such beauty never fails my soul with happiness to fill. The radio is forecasting heat, eighty degrees or better. I know that by the evening, I'll need to don a sweater. In the meantime I'll enjoy a perfect summer day. I wish it could last longer, before winter comes our way. Our benign Pacific Ocean never brings a hurricane. With all of our other blessings, I don't mind a little rain. Joyce: Charming poem! We really are blessed in the Pacific Northwest. (I won't mention earthquakes.) Betty Lou Hebert |

Made me sweat. :-) Even in the air conditioned sultry south. Good job... great imagery! |
