A silent road lay before me like an ocean all alone Silence conquers my dark feelings that have surfaced since I was born The road calls me to my future one that I wish I saw Beckons me to start my journey traveling into your arms. A silent road lay before me like my heart is an open song Where stars confront their desolation in the act of dying out To take a step in one direction takes me to where you are from The silence of the open heart ache cannot contort me to my fall. A silent road lay before me the journey starts when you're alone Like stars colliding for inaction our hearts beat as though they are one A silent moment in my memory as I see your tears begin to fall Capture them with my souls presence as the road ends at your door. |

You have such flare to your words. You write with such emotion, and have a wonderful way of conveying your message without fancy words. A great write as always. ![]() Marina It is a blessing to have wings for words, and passion in pen Marina Crossley |

Good work, Michael. I liked this, especially the ending. Elizabeth Something sweet, something sort of grandish, sweeps my soul when thou art near... [email protected] |

this is very beautiful, sometimes we make hard decisions not knowing what road to go down, but here I can see it's quite evident to where she should turn in order to reclaim the right road. |
