The Ugly Duckling, Part Two Then one day they did marry, and never did they part. She loved him with her heart and soul, every ounce within her heart. Then as luck would have it fire burned him beyond compare, he drew deep within himself keeping hidden there. Her love for him was not deterred she stayed there by his side, and then he finally asked of her 'How can you love me, when my face I now must hide?' Her hand then gently touched his face, as she said, 'My love can you not see? You'll never be an ugly duckling, for my swan you will ALWAYS be.' On the wings of words our spirits fly, and our souls are free. |

Beauty begets beauty! A fine finishing piece, G.S. You turned the tables nicely. Looking forward to more of your well written tales! Trev. |

Oh some days I wish I had more time to answer you all one by one, but then it seems I don't have time to read enough of your beautiful words. Thank you all so much for making me feel so welcome here. ![]() |
