Scandal in the papers Missing ballot boxes All the votes were in But where the heck were they The whole world was watching Even in Australia Down to just one state Holding two men in sway Rainy night in Georgia The nurse is surely spooked One man, the loser Is yelling out the door What's it mean? What's it mean? Such a strange word to scream He is President Though he lost years before He died tonight, in sleep The snow globe shatters loud Strange, it never snows Irony of his fate His things were sold or burned In Xanadu, his home The tote board on fire With one unshaded state Florida... Hey - I WAS WATCHING TOO... so there.. I just watched, not one hour ago, watched a whole bunch of Republicans jumping around in TEXAS celebrating so there I'm informed too!!!! (I still don't think Republican should be the name of the party though..it seems pointless...IMHO) Anywho - coolies on the poem... KThe wind shifts like this: Like a human without illusions... President Kane or merely Citizen? Who knows seeing as how Florida went for Bore, then for Shrub...I think they oughta give it to Nader just for a while, just to make everyone else sweat. You would think after all these elections we'd get it right and not have any confusion or controversy over simply marking a ballot...these are adults voting...yes....hello is it kindof hard to pick the right box...you had your five minutes in the booth now go on your way and leave me alone I don't want to hear your sniveling...thank you very much...I scribbled where it said bush and I know I did it and I have no doubt...Florida get your act together...ha....James |

They're both in trouble when Florida is the key. We are famous for having more dead people vote than any state in the country!! It's a circus....which is appropriate, I guess, when you have two clowns running  |

And now I just heard on the news tonight that Gore is taking it to the courts over those 19,000 votes or so that were disqualified.......I figure as soon as the courts and lawyers get involved it won't matter who really won...'cause we won't find out 'till it's time for the next election....yikes....would that mean four more years of Clinton?!
