Missing You

I hear your soft voice
Over the distant phone lines
And I feel my heart ache
Wanting you here with me
Standing next to me by my side
Wanting to hold you close
We keep saying soon .. soon
We will be together
But the soon seems so long away
I hold on tight to your sweet voice
It is all I have of you
I can hear your smile
Hear you whisper “I love you”
And it warms my heart
Carrying me through while
I wait here.. missing you.

RP25~ I know how this feels, my hubby and I did that long distance thing before we got married, I hope it works out for you. I really liked this a lot!
