Like No Other

when we kissed
the rains seemed to stop,
the tears dried, and a smile
shown, dissolving the gray
as the sun broke through.

when your lips brushed mine,
a sensory of thrills
occurred, surging me,
pulling me into your field
lingering there for an
electrical moment, a connection
that can't be broken by time.

'til now, I am still held
by this force of you,
no matter the distance,
your kiss holds an attraction
like no other.
