Mom-

I just wanted to thank you,
For putting up with me for 18 years.

Sometimes I feel like I’ve taken you for granted,
And makes me hurt inside, Mom, it makes me wanna cry.

I may be 18 now, all grown up,
But I still need you.

I’m still a kid inside,
And now I’m hurt again.

This tyme its not a cut or scrape,
Its much more, a broken heart.

My friends have tried to help,
But I need your help the most.

I try to be strong around you,
And not to let the tears fall.

Mom, I just wanted you to know . . .

Very nice post, nice tribute to an important figure in everyone's life. i dunno what'd i do w/o my mom. she cards my ass everywhere! LOL

It's sweet to see that you have a bond this big with your mother. I have the same kind with mine.......she's my best friend.
Anyhow, nicely done.
