A tap, a bang,
The wind whispered,
And broke the candle light,
I sat in darkness for a while,
Contemplating,

Lighting flash,
Illuminating the outside world,
If only for a while,
I breathed out relaxed,
If only for a while,

Slashed lighting again,
This time a shadow passing,
My heart racing,
Still there I sat,
Contemplating.


If your afraid of the dark, then why did you come?
