she's alone in her battle battling a disease she never eats she always sees they don't know her nobody does she seems so happy she'll never tell she won't be hurt again back off go away she shows no emotion use and abuse her walk all over her she can't be touched she's gone inside to that place of pain nobody can touch her she's never herself she uses her bones to push reality away she's so sick so skinny but her bones save her no one says how ugly she looks all she wants is them to notice her so she can quit being invisible tears fall on her cheeks walk down the hall a nameless face she looks so fragile and her scars but you can't touch her... you can try but she doesn't let people in she uses her sharp bones her delicate hip bones to push you away and suddenly she's gone... and her bones kept her that way never leave the light on if you don't want to be found |

 i guess nobody really wanted to read these... alas. hmmm... i would really appreciate some comments on this poem in particular... thanks guys and gals never leave the light on if you don't want to be found |

I just found this and I think it's a great depiction of anorexia, and really, any person's struggle to "fit in". (is it you, I wonder?) I think it should go in the book. Go back and edit and see if you can check the book..... |
