Evil Applications

Up is heaven; down is hell
and i'm caught in between.
no one can hear me yell
into the starry void
in which i reside
because on my application to heaven
i lied.

Clever twist at the end. And to be perfectly honest... i think i see why you said "Cows to Slaughter" was a little bland. Excellent.
