Infamy

Watching CNN,
sound muted,
it occurred to me
that the very existence
of such entities
relies on the near-promotion
of the Timothy McVeighs
of this world.

When someone
kills that many people
there’s bound to be
a plethora
of news stories
for years to come!

Tim’s new book
says he didn’t know
about the daycare center,
but called the kids
“collateral damage.”

Okay, let’s run the story,
front page.

Tim, check it out,
you’re headline news -
again.
