![]() You have watched them orbit, streets filled with one dim flare, hungry as Tiger sharks stalking ever-ignorant blind, deaf prey. Acid rain falls into a witch’s brew of rumored lies where boils a newt of eye, savored pain, anguish and deceit. In days of old a letter worn by those who knew not truth forewarned all of words that hurt and actions from the pit. So answer now a question dear, who shall fight and defend, who molds the lone silver bullet, who holds a wooden stake? "I am not now that which I have been." |

WOW That powerfully drives the point home! The last stanza did clinch the whole point of this poem. Give gossip and unkindness the silver bullet! Excellent work! ![]() Aloha with warmest regards, Koko |
