Chaotic Mind Games

up, up , up
crash!
escalating, motivating
gnash
words and articles
poems and prose
sitting on the hillside
smellin’ like a rose
sun goes down
dark climbs in
my mind and heart
are in a spin
where are the words
to string on a line
to bring about
a work so fine
to catch the eyes and minds
and such
get avid readers
in my clutch

ahh...the eager poet!

but it's when you write for yourself without regard of who will be reading it that the true poet emerges. Or so I have found!
