A bud awakens
To smile upon the day light
With its special gift
With a peaceful end
The leaf falls earthbound to rest
And lay with friends
A dawn of new now
Awakening earth below
To brighten the path

Cloud covers sky with storm
Hiding the sun of brightness
Turning joy to frown

What beautiful and peaceful thoughts!  I love Haiku for it's simplicity and grace...nicely done, my friend!
