A Drifter Till I Die I was born with wanderlust, There's nothing wrong with that- The place I'm known, to call my home, Is where I hang my hat. I've been a lot of places- I've seen a lot of sights. And I've known a lot of dreary days, A lot of lonely nights. I'd have to say it's worth it- The price is not too high... I'll hitch my wagon to a star- Beneath that western sky. I'll travel round the country- With my bag and my guitar. Drinking coffee from a can- Beside my roadside fire. I doubt you'll ever tame me- No need to even try... I'll spend my life out on the road- A drifter till I die. |
