Old Toby the toad was sitting all alone.

When Billy the bullfrog started singing a song.

Old Billy was singing here we are just us two.
All alone with nothing to do.

Toby looked at Billy and thought he saw a tear fall.

When out of the pond he heard Freddy the fish call.

You`re not all alone you`ve got me.

Look there stands Davey the deer out by the tree.

Look in the tree up in her nest.

There sits Mrs Blurjay taking a rest.

There`s Dolly the dog having a fit.

She`s chasing Cassie the cat who knows she won`t get bit.

There`s Callie the cow out in the barn.

Where Jackie the jackass is spining another yarn.

Out in the mudhole lays Harold the hog.

He`s watching Spunky the spider crawling up the log.

There`s Mary Sue such a cute little girl.

Don`t you all know that you`re her whole world?

She wheels herself out to you in her wheelchair.

With a smile on her face because she knows you`ll be there.

We all need friends no matter who or what they may be.

Because this world without friends I would hate to see.

Such fun! This poem is a real treat! Gee, I've read three poems so far...one about the lawn ranger, one about a toad and one about a child crawling up daddy's leg, making him smile.....WHERE AM I? This is WONDERFUL!!

Don't cry, girl. Some of us take a little longer getting here but we do....
