The Lady in Pink
Could make your heart sink
in her sea
Make you forever think
of what you see
As you dream of the softness
That this color could bring
eternally
The delicate wear of a rose
Wrapped around her
In her enchanting pose
With a rose perfume
Surrounding her
Like a dreamy mist
She sets minds away from rest
And as each emotion of her
Unfolds like the petals of a rose
She gives another cause
For you to choose her way
And be enchanted
With all that she would say
Or would not say
Holding a rose in her hand
You feel bewildered
And can not tell
Which is truly the rose
Wrapped in this pink cell?
The soft twinkle
in her eyes
remind of stars
twinkling in their skies
and as you see her
drinking water
and you
watch this view
you remember
roses covered with dew
reflecting
their rosy hue
She sits before you now
And you..
overwhelmed with her delicate frame,
wonder if "rose" would be her name
for a rose she is
and she would always be
in your eyes
eternally
You sit in silence
and do not know
why does her delicacy
Overwhelm you so
and why do you fight hard
to say
that you long
that you wish
and pray
that she would always stay
For you know
That in your heart
There would always be the softest
and the strongest
spark
For
The Lady in Pink
With all the enchanting loveliness
She would bring
