Please Take Care

Attempting to let go
Sat here and cried
With heart aching
Too often I tried

Attempting to let go
Not being rushed
Sinking so slowly
Heart is crushed

Attempting to let go
For hours I wept
Reading the mail
Each one I kept

Attempting to let go
Still I am waiting
The final plunge
Too devastating

Attempting to let go
I fell into despair
I am on my way
Please take care
