During my life, I have witnessed actions taken or not, trials accepted, burdens borne, by individuals or groups, out of a sense of guilt for some crime or other bad thing for which he, she, or they, were not only not personally responsible, but were even not in a position, (in time or place), to fend off or stop. Is there a limit? At what point can, should, that innocent man, woman, people, walk away? John |
