I hear you now,
the night complete,
a victorious blue breeze
brushing rainbows for
my mind, and all the
passions of the world
take character ...

one word, moving swiftly
like an arrow through the
crowd, caught in a windsong;

I hear you now,
this word ...

moistened by your poetry,

like sunshine to the buttercup,

only you can be

my love.

Poetry is:
Passion, imagination and intellect running together.

and tugs at my heart strings.

Cheryl,

There is something special about this poem. The balance and thoughts seem 'just right'!

"windsong", I've always liked that word.

and this line, refreshing, alive:
"like sunshine to the buttercup"

and this is truly how it is, tut, would be:

"only you can be my love" oh, how right that is.

You did a great job with this, it especially speaks to my heart and my feelings.
