I'll let you down to rest
once I have said my peace.

I will place you in the tall grass
by the pond where we danced
about in the gentle cool waters.

allowing our bodies
to be one
allowing our minds
a much need vacation
from thought
and wrong.

I am leaving you
I am giving up
my heart to another.

thanks...i wasn't quite sure how i wanted it to end..it had an alternative ending in which it was tad more upbeat but i felt might as well go all the way.
