standing on a shadow's lace

Silent Prayer’s Wings

somewhere out there
on the wind
as a blackbird flies
is the sweetest sound
of a symphony
in a sigh
carried on air
by the movement
of a wing
just out of reach
but I know what
a silent prayer brings
