I want to fall in love
to soar upon the wings of a dove
searching for your heart, your soul
being without you takes its toll
I do not want to die
and never know the joy of you and I
two souls intertwined for all time
gazing into you what will I find
perhaps not yet, what if I discern
that you do not feel, do not yearn
for me, like I yearn for you
for love is a dance best done by two
