standing on a shadow's lace

Stroked

strokes of time
and ink of pen
and the kind
that soothes
the skin
did I imply
I was
impressed
did my ego
swim past
the rest
or weakened
vessels obstructing
movement slow
is it luck
or genius
bestowed
