The city weeps for you. I can feel its sweat in all my pores. The rain pours in streams of itself. The airway tarmac is black oil. I remember the when of changing my watch. I watch the change across the sky. The city I left is weeping for you. The city I returned to doesn't know how to cry. She said burn ... together. |
