An immense sadness sweeps over me, As I choke back the tears, That threaten to drain me. Thinking off the past, Wishing I could do it all over, But knowing I must live with it. The hole I have dug for myself, Suddenly seems lonelier than ever, More vast than I can comprehend. To simply be ignored seems tragic, But it’s all I asked for, Nothing more, nothing less. I walk outside as the sun beats down, To find no comfort there either, Only life unaware of my inner depression. I realize I’m trapped within this darkness, So completely black nothing can compare to it, Not even this growing sadness I feel within. If You Wanna See A Rainbow, You've Gotta Live Through The Rain. And If You Wanna See Through Love, You've Gotta Live Through The Pain. |

It seems that a lot of your poems are about regret...something that happened in the past ( most likely a relationship ) that you wish you could change. It's sad that they seem so depressing, but you express the feeling VERY well. Good job sweetie! Love ya! ~J.Lynn ![]() "In life you must dance like no one is watching, sing like no one is listening and love like it's never going to hurt..." |
