You stand before me Like you did before Like you said you will again But how do I know With all things crashing around me You care, you laugh, you love, you cry Where does it come from Is there a spring At the end of the river Of your cries, your lies Or is it mealy fed my rainfall Coming forth, flowing Only when a black cloud hangs overhead Knowing my pain only when I fall Fall into the depths of despair When all the things I know Cannot hide my true inner feelings From spilling over my face And baring a grotesque reality For the world to see As my inner mind and thoughts So why do you stand before me? when you live you begin to die |
