Fall

When air around me skips with fall
and rustles leaves in maple squall,
my heart and soul become enthralled
in the whirlwind of Your Love.
Emotions laugh, emotions yearn,
and ponder only Your return
as leaves about me swirl and spurn
in the presence of Your Grace.
How colorful Your world it seems
beyond the eminence of dreams
and all that worries, frets, and schemes
falls to nothing in Your Love.
Oh, hand of Mercy, hand of Grace
that touches gently on my face
and leads me onward to that place
where Peace and Love abound
and like leaves fall all around.
