One does not soon forget, What he comes to regret For it becomes a nagging voice, Which to silence, he has no choice. "If only..." is the battle cry, Which tears to shreds, and make a sigh the poor heart in sad forlorn the wasted opportunities scorned. Things left undone still leave their scar, And a visage and life mar If only I had done things right, I'd not know this sleepless night! From such regrets let us be taught, Choose action and not be distraught Let "If only" die a lonley death, And free it from my quivering breath. I thank the LORD everyday |

We know "hindsight is 20/20." Who are we to hold onto what God has put away by forgiveness? Apostle Paul is the greatest teacher of moving forward in spite of a messed up past. Thank God we can learn from our mistakes, and by God's grace have another chance. Seems everyone can relate to this piece, David. God bless, Rae |

Yes, I've known that nagging voice, deleeme and the only way to silence it is to beg forgiveness and go on. Usually it is bigger in your mind than in the other person's and of course our God always forgives. Love, Joyce |
