who is this person
that I have become?
full of love
or only misgivings?
is it doubt that
controls me
or a hope of future things?
always so unsure
about so much
yet sometimes
nothing at all
a contradictory in
terms
so happy yet
unable to let go
of past pains
is it the wonder
of life
or the fear
of being wrong
who will guide me?
my spirit
my drive to
be unlike them
or my prayer
to the One
who saved me?
am I strong enough to rely
on the one sure thing?
or always
second guess
everything I do?
Father please
help me to know myself
teach me to trust in You.
God help me
to be a good mother.

When we know ourselves ... the rest makes perfect sense~

The joys of motherhood are a blessing that He has *gifted* us with for sure~
He never let me down in guiding me to raise mine ... and He won't you either as long as you keep Him in your heart~

Precious words for God to hear. He must be rejoicing that one of His children is calling on Him, and for reasons that aren't selfish, but very loving, and giving. He will always be there. We are the ones that move away from Him. Such a lovely write. Blessed me bunches!!!
