A Lovers' Sonnet

She’s called, just as I’d thought to be creating
A sonnet, perfect for a lover’s bid.
Why write of love, when love’s already waiting?
I’ll write the poem later…

I thought of it while coasting in bed this morning, and it made me laugh --

So I just got up and wrote it down.....

.....now I'm missing those nice warm Sunday covers, but if I sneak back in I'll wake her up.....
