As I sat tonight
in the orange glow
of street lamps
in fog over snow
I thought of worlds
that I have visited
within the writings
of those more
gifted than me
The words
inscribed
on a vial
in one of
those domains
came back to me
and sent me
pondering
Am I sipping
on the vial
that I should
drink of entire
