The night, my darkest friend Inside your silent moments, I see your stars When the morning returns you leave for another I spend each day recollecting my memories Avoiding the thought of the pain you bring to me Shall I find a place where day is forever I would be as pleased as many other Shall I stop finding dreams, for they are never real I call for a moment when screams will desert my call Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love |

Read this through a few times; Deep, and I like it.... I wish the word call wasn't used twice in last line.... it makes me re-think the meaning.... I liked the night going to another... Warm regards, Pat ![]() ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

Daniel, this is a strong poem. I feel lots of emotion in it. It's written very well. Thanks for sharing. ![]() "Love makes the world go around" |
