My eyes tainted- So much poverty I see, My lips cracking- The injustice I leak, My mind is blemished, From desires, not quenched, My heart broken, From the people I left, My hands quivering, For not helping a man, My legs collapsing, For I have lost faith, My soul burning, To the devil’s taste. |
