this is my first attempt in poetry that doesn't fit in the dark poetry section...

to my beloved

if i look behind your eyes
deep into your mind
i realize how much i love you
and it's love that i find

to see you smile
gets my heart in an exultant mood
for i know you smile
because it's me you've viewed

as time went by
my love for you grew
and everyday, again
i adore you

how will i laugh tomorrow
when i can't even smile today
