Whippoorwill-Whippoorwill you walk in shadows still an echo of a whippoorwill darkness frees you in flight gracing wings of my night I listen to your lonely cry bouncing off of earth to sky I can feel your every ache a sound in silence hard to take oh whippoorwill you call me clear it is my heart in which I hear I wish that I could let you go but you are the sound dark winds blow "I am living a life, i have no wish to live. How did this happen?" Unknown [This message has been edited by 1slick_lady (07-24-2003 02:56 PM).] |

What a heavy poem, Helen... it bears a quiet sadness, while remaining truly lovely in word. |
